Let Integral Intuition Find Your Life's Purpose And Work.

Why are we here on Earth? In the consumerist society, very few people ask this question while running the rat race to amass money and material possessions. Many people reach the top of a career ladder only to find that the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall. Even if you win the rat race, you still remain a rat. Your choice of work has an impact on not only you and your family, but also on the collective fate of humanity and Earth. Lifestyles based on unbridled material consumption have messed up the balance of our living Earth, triggering the danger of an ecological meltdown through global warming.
How do we know what is our true purpose in life and how shall we find work that manifests it? The herd mentality often makes people jump into the most paying professions, regardless of the problems such careers cause like a breathless schedule, dissatisfaction, ill health, impaired human relations and social or ecological damage. Rational analysis of various career options alone will not help you find work, which suits your unique soul’s divine earthly purpose. However, integral intuition can help you.
Intuition is not merely the accumulated experiences buried in your unconscious mind or the collective unconscious, though intuition can access those levels also. Integral Intuition arises from the integral consciousness that encompasses the Gaia consciousness of Earth, the Cosmic consciousness and the Transcendental Being. The human mind/body system serves as an excellent conduit for this intuition to enter your awareness. There are several ways to access this intuition to find work that manifests your soul’s purpose. Here is an effective exercise to identify and manifest your life’s work.
1.Enter a relaxed state through any preferred way like meditation or progressive muscular relaxation. Ask yourself to list the activities, abilities and talents you truly love, and give you effortless joy and peace. Write down spontaneously without thinking, in the order that they first appear in your awareness. Stop writing when you feel like pausing.
These aspects you are passionate about, point to your soul’s earthly purpose. For example, some people find that interacting with people gives them joy. It means an inclination for professions involving interpersonal interaction. Others might love exploring uncharted territories. It shows potential for visionary leadership.
2. Make a list of the professions or forms of work associated with each of the aspects you had written down. Imagine yourself in the work environment of these professions and note whether you feel relaxed or tense in the body and mind. Visualise yourself working within an organisation or being self-employed. Note what makes you feel relaxed or heavy.
3. If you want to work in an organisation, list the organisations that offer the work you listed. If you prefer self-employment, note the services or products you can offer.
4. Now examine the impact of the organisations or services/products you listed, on the greatest good of humanity and Earth. Do they harm the future of humanity or the planetary ecology? Eliminate the options that could cause harm. Then refine the options you are left with. Which organisations in your list exemplify qualities like social and ecological responsibility and value the employees, rather than merely pursue a soulless bottom line orientation? Regarding self-employment, envision how the services and products you plan to provide can enrich fellow beings and the planet.
5. After completing your list, take the necessary steps to manifest your soul purpose through your chosen work. Contact the chosen companies if you want a job. If self- employed, start promoting your services or take action to create the products you can offer. The money to meet your needs will follow and above all, your life’s purpose will unfold naturally.
It is not necessary to choose only one of the work options your intuition has pinpointed. If you feel equally passionate about more than one profession, you can creatively evolve serial careers where you shift from one profession to another during your life trajectory, or simultaneous interconnected occupations. The key is to act according to the intuitive guidance and keep advancing on the path.
